There will be a basic application which can be downloaded by the users. This application will help the users to download and read the publications to which they subscribe to.

M-reader is an I phone application which will help the user to download and read the periodicals, journals, year book or other publications. Readers can enjoy the feeling of reading the book virtually in the mobile handset. There will be a category list which consists of various categories like novels, religious books, business etc. The user can select the name of the publication from the category list.

An increasing number of traditional readers are exploring ways by which, they can carry their books in digital format. The m-reader application will give thrust to two key aspects viz. readability and manageability of the application, so as to lead the users to a new reading experience. The important features of the application include, Flip the pages to view next page, bookmark the pages, User can search the books based on Author, title, view of the iPhone can be changed in vertical and horizontal manner, go to Page, go to the feature etc.

Functionalities

The application is fully customized to the needs of the users. While reading the application, the user can go to the next page by flipping the pages. The user has the option to mark the last page read. The user can simply mark the page by virtually folding the upper right hand side of the displayed page. When the user again opens the application the marked page will be displayed. While reading the publication user can highlight the portions of the book found to be interesting or important, so that future references will be made easier.
